What is Cin7?

Cin7 is a cloud-based inventory management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform designed for mid-market e-commerce brands and product businesses. The software connects suppliers, warehouses, and sales channels into a unified system to provide real-time inventory visibility, demand forecasting, and order management across multiple channels.

The platform offers two main product tiers: Cin7 Core, which provides robust out-of-the-box features for standard inventory operations, and Cin7 Omni, a more customizable version built for niche use cases and complex workflows. Key capabilities include inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, third-party logistics (3PL) coordination, EDI integration, accounting functions, point-of-sale systems, and assembly manufacturing with bill-of-materials tracking. Cin7 ForesightAI, an embedded forecasting tool, uses artificial intelligence to predict demand and optimize purchasing decisions. The platform also includes automations, intelligent document recognition for data entry, and an "Ask Me Anything" feature for operational insights. Additional services include Cin7 Pay for embedded global payments, Cin7 Capital for growth financing, and a customizable B2B portal for buyer interactions.

Integration is a core strength, with support for over 700 app partners including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, and ShipStation. The software serves industries including food and beverage, fashion and apparel, manufacturing, retail, and wholesale distribution. Currently, more than 8,500 customers use the platform, processing over 125 million orders annually and managing more than $35 billion in sales. The company offers onboarding support through Cin7 Academy training resources and dedicated help centers for Core and Omni users.
